The Young Idealist exists to encourage the next generation of thinkers, policymakers, and leaders through the quarterly peer review and publication of political, social, and environmental ideas. Essays proposing positive change are critiqued and developed by an editorial board and an active readership. The dialogue and community facilitated will establish a basis for reform in the future, and through political involvement in the present the journal actively supports the ideas and ideals it endorses.
